Enrollment Procedure
To enroll a child at one of our Childcare Centers, parents/guardians must complete the appropriate program application and submit the necessary documents. The Assistant Director will review the class lists to determine when enrollment will be possible. In some cases, applicants may need to be placed on a waiting list until an opening is available for their child.
Waiting List
We only enroll the maximum number of children allowed in each classroom. This provides the children with a diverse social network while ensuring a beneficial teacher-to-student ratio. If a new family wishes to enroll but there are no class openings, the child is added to a waiting list. Applications received for the waiting list will be date stamped and handled accordingly. As space becomes available, an Assistant Director will monitor the waiting list and contact the next eligible family on the list.
Eligibility
We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion or gender in the recruitment, selection or enrollment process at our centers.
Enrollment Procedure
Upon acceptance into the program:
-
An Assistant Director will contact the family of the child to set up a meeting time at the center. Paperwork will be filled out while the child meets their new teachers individually, to ease into the new experience.
-
The child will then be escorted to their new classroom by their parents and allowed to explore their new room at their own pace and level of comfort.
-
Following the child’s exploration of the new classroom, the child will be provided with several toys and activities to stimulate them while their parents are completing the necessary paperwork. Their new teachers will come in to say hello and interact with them periodically throughout their play.
-
We do everything possible to make the child feel safe, comfortable, and empowered to have fun while learning.
